Fundraising & Administrative Officer / Personal Assistant to Director

Purpose of the Role


We are recruiting a full-time professional based in Montana, Pretoria to fulfil a dual-function role:
   1.    Fundraising & Administrative Officer, and
   2.    Personal Assistant to the Director.

This role is critical to securing funding, ensuring smooth operations, and enabling the Director to focus on strategic growth.

 
Key Responsibilities


1) Fundraising & Donor Relations
   •    Research, identify, and approach donors, corporates, sponsors,             and grantmakers.
   •    Draft proposals, sponsorship requests, and grant applications.
   •    Maintain donor relationships, acknowledgements, and reporting           requirements.
   •    Plan and support fundraising events and campaigns.
   •    Manage donor databases and track deliverables.

2) Administrative & Operational Support
   •    Oversee day-to-day office administration and systems.
   •    Handle filing, correspondence, record-keeping, and compliance           documentation.
   •    Liaise with finance/bookkeeping providers for payments,                        invoices, and basic budget tracking.

3) Personal Assistant Support to the Director
   •    Manage the Director’s diary, meetings, travel, and logistics.
   •    Coordinate communication with stakeholders, partners, and                   service providers.
   •    Prepare briefing notes, agendas, and follow-ups.
   •    Assist with occasional personal administrative matters where                required.
Requirements


•    3+ years’ experience in fundraising, donor management, admin,
      or NPO operations.
   •    Experience as a PA/Executive Assistant is a strong advantage.
   •    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
   •    Strong organising, multitasking, and time-management                         abilities.
   •    Professional, discreet, proactive, and mission-driven.
   •    Computer literate (MS Office / Google Workspace / CRM tools).
   •    Financial admin or basic bookkeeping exposure beneficial.
   •    Own transport (advantageous).
   •    Passion for women’s health, community outreach, and NPO work.
