Many of us have been affected by cancer in some way. Screen Her Save Her (SHSH) is a non-profit organisation that educates women about breast cancer and the importance of early detection, and supports patients who have been diagnosed with cancer throughout their reatments journey. It also offers access to world-class screening – including mammograms and ultrasounds – especially in areas where these services are scarce. Many of the women SHSH supports do not have medical aid or the means to pay for screenings themselves. That’s why fundraising is critical – so SHSH can offer this life-saving service to as many women as possible.
